Course Overview

This online course is part of a comprehensive program, which provides a clear, holistic treatment model for addictions using TCM. This segment is Course 9 of 10 and contains Lessons 42-46 of the 52 Lesson program. Each Lesson is comprised of an engaging PDF workbook, three videos, two audios with experiential exercises, a client summary and notes for the practitioner. In this Course we explore Water’s second visit in the Cycle of Addiction. Specifically we examine how the Seed of addiction is replanted with respect to Jing, Inheritance, Secrets and the viewing of addiction as Your Enemy. Here’s what you’ll get: 1) Lesson 42: The Inherited Part of Your Addiction 2) Lesson 43: Secrets 3) Lesson 44: Addiction as Your Enemy 4) Lesson 45: The Family Tree 5) Lesson 46: Ancestors As with all of the Courses in the Alchemist Recovery Program, youll be guided step-by-step in holistic ways to treat addiction. You will be able to put these concepts immediately into practice, integrate them with your own personal methods and offer them to your clients - either as a way to enhance your private and group sessions or to keep them engaged between office visits.

Course Objectives

• Use the wisdom of Sun Tzu to clarify a clients relationship to their addiction.
• Teach a client to safely examine the Secrets that are perpetuating their Cycle of Addiction.
• Use ancestry, throught the concept of Jing, to clarify your clients perception of what they have inherited as part of their addiction.

Course Outline

0 hrs - 1 hrsLesson 42: The Inherited Part of Your Addiction. We explore your clients perspective on the inherited part of their addiction. What exactly does this mean and how does this appear in their life?

1 hrs - 2 hrsLesson 43: Secrets. When the Metal Element fails to express what needs to be said, this item can sink deeper into the depths of Water in the form of a Secret. This must be brought to light.

2 hrs - 3 hrsLesson 44: Addiction as Your Enemy. We use the wisdom of Sun Tzu to take a more complete view of addiction and the release some of the struggle your clients may experience.

3 hrs - 4 hrsLesson 45: Your Family Tree. We construct a Family Tree for your client. This information provides a visual structure to understand Jing, Inheritance, and addiction a little better.

4 hrs - 5 hrsLesson 46: Ancestors. We provide a different view of Inheritance for your clients, especially ones that have a hard time connecting with anything positive from their Family Tree.
