Course Overview
This recorded webinar presents an in-depth use of Heart-9 with clinical cases. Cases demonstrating dramatic changes when using this point will be covered; conditions such as persistent migraines, depression, allergies, memory loss, etc., can all be affected when Ht-9 is applied correctly. Course Outline
0 hrs - 30 minIntroduction to the concept of Shen, and Ht-9; location of this point, and its uses for treatment historically.
30 min - 1 hrsIn-depth look at Ht-9, and the use of Jing-well points. Different acupuncture techniques, such as tonifying, reducing, etc. will be covered along with discussion on relationship between pulse presentation and selection of acupuncture techniques.
1 hrs - 1.25 hrsCase examples demonstrating how the use of this single point can provide emotional transformation, and affect a variety of conditions such as depression, allergies, memory loss, etc. Discussion of working with mind-body-spirit transformation in acupuncture.
1.25 hrs - 1.5 hrsReview drawings that demonstrate the name and action of Ht-9 and recorded Q&A session.
Teacher
With over 25 years of clinical, academic, and research experience, Dr. Yair Maimon, (OMD, Ph.D., Ac.), integrates Complementary and Chinese Medicine in a western medical set-up. He currently heads an integrative oncology research center (Tal Center) at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, as well as the Israeli Center for Research in Complementary Medicine.
